Conceived as a quiet place to surround oneself in nature and away from city life, the concept of Old Mason includes two identical mirrored bedrooms with one large Japanese-style bath and one large open concept living, dining and kitchen. Referencing the universal rudimentary form of a 'monopoly house', the materials palette is kept to a minimum, allowing the two surrounding creeks, live oaks, and native meadow grasses to take center stage.
