Tasked with expanding and reimagining an existing 1930's worker's bungalow in an up-and-coming neighborhood off Fitzhugh and Knox/Henderson in Dallas, careful consideration was taken to expand the square footage while also preserving the architectural vernacular of the area. Stripping away unnecessary ornament, the original structure becomes modern in form and function, while a two-story flat roof addition adds necessary square footage for a modern city lifestyle.
